1.INVITATION FOR BID
TO: All
Contractor of Category Water Works General Contractor 7 and Above
with Renewed License for the year 200 E.C. and VAT registered.
On behalf of the
beneficiary communities Tigray Region Water Resources, Mines and
Energy Bureau has allocated budget for the Construction & Completion
of Water Supply Projects (pipeline, reservoirs and electromechanical
works) for:
Medatao Water
Project …………….WWGC 7 & above
1. The
Bureau now invites you to submit wax-sealed bids for providing the
necessary labor, material & equipment for the construction,
preparation and completion of the above stated works.
2. The
bidders shall be with renewed license for the year 200 E.C. and Vat
Registered and Declared.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased from Tigray
Region Water Resource, Mines and Energy Bureau Tel. 40 66 77/ 78 /79
Ext. 213/ 222 Mekelle and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr
300.
4. Bidders
may obtain further information from the mentioned office.
5. The
bid must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of an
acceptable CPO for an amount of Birr 10,000.00 for Medatao. And must
be delivered to Tigray Region Water Resource, Mines and Energy
Bureau office number 05 on or before 3:30 PM. local time, on Jan.
3/2008.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend on the same date and place at 4:00 P.M. at Tigray Region Water Resource, Mines and Energy Bureau, Mekelle.
7. The
construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of
75 calendar days from signing of the contract agreement.
8. The
bid evaluation will be on financial and technical criteria.
9. Bidders
are requested to fill all the necessary details in the bid document.
The bidders shall submit short and clear schedule of material supply
(Electromechanical, pipes and fittings).
10. The
invitation to bid is open to all bidders who have good experiences
on water works and able to assign an expert an appropriate site
engineer.
11. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
