INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR PROCUREMENT
OF GOODS (OFFICE FURNITURE)

1. The
FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA has received financing fro
the INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION toward the cost of public
sector capacity building project (PSCAP). The borrower intends to
apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract
for which this bidding document are issued.
2. The
Dire Dawa Provisional Administration Capacity Building Bureau now
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following office
furniture.

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain furnish information from the Department
of the public sector capacity building program of the Dire Dawa
Capacity Building Burau, Procurement desk Ato Fekadu Beyene E-mail
bouch 1111 @yahoo. com & inspect the bidding Documents at the
address given below.
4. Qualification
requirements include: a valid and renewed business license from the
Ministry of Trade and Industry or equivalent regional bureaus, and a
Value Added Tax (VAT) registration for the current year and
suppliers registration certificate. Additional details are provided
in the bidding Documents.
5. A
complete set of bidding Documents in English language may be
purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr). The method of
payment will be a cash on the site.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/bidder’s
representatives who choose to present in person at 2:30 PM one day
after the completion of the 21 bid floating days from the 1st
day of bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 2 % of the total
bid price in Birr/in a certified bank check (CPO)

8. The
offer should be valid for 60 days from the bid submission date.
9. The
price should be quoted in Birr the currency of Ethiopian.
10. The
Bidder shall submit its bid using the bid submission forms furnished
in the bidding documents. The schedule form shall be used for
quoting the price- The authorized signatory of the bidder shall sign
both the form.
11. The
Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids at any
time prior toward of the contract with out any obligations to inform
the bidder.
