To: CONTRACTORS WITH LICENSE VALID FOR THIS YEAR.

The Ethiopian Investment Agency invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

            A/ The supply and installation of lifts. (for the 2^nd time)
            B/ The procurement of Building Maintenance Work.

1.      Interested eligible bidders can complete on one or both works.

2.      The interested eligible bidders for Building Maintenance Work shall be of GC/BC class 5 and above.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open national tendering procedures contained in the pubic procurement proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopian and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company Design Studio 3 Block No. 10 office No. 71. (for “A”) and studio 1 Block No. 5 office No. 37 (for “B”)

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of 7^th December 2007 by interested bidders at the address below at 7(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100 Birr for “A” or “B”.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(b) at or before 5:00 PM. January 3^rd, 2008. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 30,000.00 for “A” and 5000 for “B” Payable on first demand Address to the employer. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below 7 (c) at 10:00 A.M.., January 4^th, 2008.

7.       (a) Documents may be purchased from Ethiopian Investment Agency ground, floor Room No. 5.

      (b) Bids must be delivered to Ethiopian Investment Agency, 2^nd floor, Room No. 203 before January 3^rd, 2008, 5:00 PM.

      (c) Address of Bid Opening:- Ethiopian Investment Agency 1^st Floor Room No. 111.

8.      The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign and seal by authorized personal all the forms of the bid document. Failure of this instruction may lead to bid rejection.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on sum items is not acceptable.
