1. The
College of Telecommunications and Information Technology (CTIT) of
the Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) invites Sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the supply of various information
Technology and Office Equipment such as Servers, 4 port Wireless
Routers, Wireless Access points, Computers, Fire walls, Digital
Camera, Digital Video Camera, Wide Screen Flat panel plasma Video
display, etc.
2. Interested
bidder can compete for one or more items covered in the tender
invitation.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents can be obtained from the College
of Telecommunications and Information Technology (CTIT), Purchase &
Supply office, during office hours upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr only).
4. Interested
bidders are required to present their Trade license renewed for the
fiscal year, certificate of Supplier Registration by MoFED and VAT
registration certificate.
5.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% (One
Percent) of the total bid amount in the form of Cash, CPO or Bank
Guarantee issued by a recognized bank. Bidders who wish to deposit
cash as bid security must deposit to the College’s finance office
before the bid opening date and produce the receipt/deposit slip
during the bid opening. A bid received without bid security will be
rejected.

Sealed bids marked. “Tender for the procurement of various
Information Technology and office equipment Tender No.
CTIT/NCB/01/January/ 2007)” and addressed to:

Shall be deposited in the box
prepared for this purpose at CTIT, GSTIT’s building, Room No. 203 in
Addis Ababa on or before 31st January, 2007, 2:00 P.M. Bids
received after the closing date and time will be rejected.
7. The
bids received shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders
or their authorized retrospectives on 31 January, 2007 at
2:30 P.M. at CTIT/GSTIT building video conference room.
8. The
CTIT reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids received.
Bids will be evaluated and contract will be awarded on item by item
basis.
