1. The
FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA has received a loan from the
African Development Fund toward the cost of Input sore project
and intends to apply part of contract. Bidding is open to all
bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the ADB’s Rules
of Procedure for Procurement of Goods and works.
2. Gurage
Zone Agriculture & Rural Development Department invites all
interested eligible bidders for the construction of input store that
construct with the help of ADF of Agricultural sector support
project in Wolkite town.
3. Eligible
bidders of class GC/BC 7 and above regulatory registered with the
Ministry of Works and Urban Development and who have renewed their
license valid for the fiscal budget year and have VAT registration
certificate.

One original and two copies/copied by photocopy machine/1999
E.C. of bid documents separately sealed with wax in separate
envelopes and marked "original" and "Copy" respectively.
5. Bidding
documents may be purchased from Gurage zone Finance & Economic
Development Department for a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One
Hundred Birr only) from January 11, 2007 to February 12, 2007 up to
12:00 A.M. by writing and application letter of Gurage Zone
Construction Department.
6. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and
must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of their project cost in
the form of CPO by sealing in the original document.
7. The
tender will be opened on 12/2/2007 in the presence of bidders or
their legal represeatnvies at 2:00 P.M. local time in Gurage Zone
Finance & Economic Development Department.
8. All
questionnaires formats and bidding documents shall be fulfilled by
eligible bidders and failing to do so may be a cause for rejection.
Therefore bidders are advised to read and fill the document
properly.
9. The
Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
