1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association/IDA/ towards the cost of
public sector capacity building program, and it intends to apply
part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract
for the supply and delivery of LAN materials and accessories under
IFB No. MCB/G/09/05. The Credit amount is US $ 100,000,000

The Amhara National Regional Capacity Building Bureau now
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and
delivery of LAN materials in package.
3. Bidding
will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement
under IBRD loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries.
4. A
complete set of bidding document in English “…. May be purchased by
and interested eligible bidders on…” the submission of written
application to the ANRS Bureau of Capacity Building and upon
non-refundable payment of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr) in cash within
30 consecutive calendar days starting from the date of this bid
announcement during the official working hours.
5. Bid
must be accompanied by a bid security bond amounting to Ethiopian 1%
of the total bid amount in one envelope in an acceptable form. The
bid security should be in the form of an unconditional bank
guarantee or certified payment order (CPO).

7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below started at end of this
INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). Bids will be closed at 2:30 P.M. on 14
February 2007. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives of bidders/who choose to be present in
person at 3:00 P.M. on 14 February 2007. Late bids will be rejected.

date.
