1.
The University of Gondar invites qualified contractors of
stated category with relevant experience and valid license for the
currently fiscal year to submit wax-sealed tenders for the Civil
worked construction of different project.
2. The

3. Bidders
must have to a valid registration certificate from Ministry of
Infrastructure and must be registered for VAT.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office: which are obtainable during working
hours from Ministry of Education, Room No. 125 and University of
Gondar Main cashier office.

5.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased against
payment of a non-refundable fee mentioned from the above table and
each contractor can compete one or more than one lots.
6. The
bid shall be valid for a period of 30 days after the bid opening and
must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of bid amount in the
form of Bank guarantee or CPO addressed to University of Gondar and
shall be delivered and deposited in the appropriately labeled box.
7.
Bidders shall submit four envelopes, “Qualification
Application”, “Bid (original and copy)” and “Bid security”,
separately and should be sealed by an outer envelope for each lot
mentioned above.
8. Tenders
must be delivered to the University of Gondar on or before February
13, 2007, 12:00 noon. Late bid will be rejected.
9. Bids
received by the said dead time will be publicly opened at 2:00 P.M.
on the same date.
10. Bids
will be evaluated and contracts awarded for each lot. Taking into
account technical compliance to the given lot, the shortest delivery
time & lowest evaluated price of each item which will be the basic
for award of the contracts. Evaluation will be done lot-by-lot basis
for the technically accepted bidders & it is according to the stated
pre qualification format.
11. The
University of Gondar reserves the right to reject any or all bids. |
