The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has
allocated foreign currency for the importation of mineral
fertilizer.
2.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural
Development (MOARD) in its tender No. MOARD/ D/ ICB/005/2006 has
invited all interested eligible importers to submit their offers for
the importation of 75,000 MT = 15% Dap (18-46-0) fertilizer in there
lots.
3. Lume-Adama
Farmers Cooperatives Union now in its own invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of 25,000 MT=15% DAP (18-46-0)
fertilizer in one lot.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding document at the office of:

complete set of bidding document may be purchased by purchased by
interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 300 or equivalent in any freely convertible currency.

Bids shall also be accompanied by overseas supplier’s bid security
equivalent of USD 1 per MT in the form of Bank Guarantee and must be
delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 A.M. on January 30,
2007 .
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who
chooses to attend at 2:00 P.M. on January 30, 2007 at the office of
Agricultural impute Market Department of MOARD located at the 9th
Floor of the former Coffee and Tea Building .
8. Lume-Adama
Farmers Cooperatives Union reserves the right to reject or accept
any or all the bids.
