The Oromo Self-Help Organization (OSHO) in collaboration with HEKS (SWIS
INTERCHURCH AID), an International Non-governmental Organization
(NGO) is undertaking Pastoralist/Agro Pastoralist Post Drought
Recovery Intervention for drought affected people in different PAs
in Miyo Woreda, Borena Zone, Oromia Region. Seed provision is one
component for the intervention. The Organizational, therefore,
invites all eligible bidders engaged in seed growing and who have
license for seed supply, for the supply of 17.785 MT of seed maize,
12.575 MT of seed Teff and 72.222 MT of seed Haricot Bean.
A
compels set of bidding documents can be purchased on the submission
of written application with copy of trade license (renewed for the
fiscal year and registration certificate) to the head office located
in front of Addis Ababa Commercial College Sengatera area upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 50 (Fifty Birr) in cash.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total
bid price. The bid security should be only in certified bank check
(CPO).
All bids shall be wax-sealed bids vividly marked bid for the supply
of seed. The bid should be delivered to the head office in Addis
Ababa should be February 2, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. Bid closing date
should be February 2, 2007 at 3:00 P.M.
Bid will be opened on February 2, 2007 at 3:30 P.M. in the presence
of eligible bidders or their duly authorized representatives at
OSHO, head office, Addis Ababa.
Bidders are requested to fill all the necessary details in the
provided bid form only.
OSHO reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
