The Shashemene
Forest Industry Enterprise invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for furnishing the necessary labour, materials, equipment
and service for the construction of the project indicated below
which is part of the Enterprise’s community development schemes.

1. Interested
and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable Birr 100 from the Head Office at the Enterprise
located at the town of Arsi-Negele, West Arsi Zone, and also from
its sales office located at Addis Ababa, near Kabena Shell fuel
station, during an office hours, starting from January 18, 2007.
2. All
bidders must provide tax clearance paper from the concerned
authority and Trade license valid for the year 1999 Eth. C./2006/7
G.C. and also VAT registration certificate in its original and copy.
3. Bidders
are required to fill all the necessary detailed information in the
bid document.
4.
The construction work shall be completed within 120 calendar
days.
5.
All bids must be delivered to the Head Office of Shashemene
Forest Industry Enterprise form January 18, 2007 up to February 16,
2007, 12:00 A.M. local time, in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed
in to the box prepared for the purpose of this bid.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2% of the
total sum of bid price in C.P.O.
7.
All bidders must provide Original, copy bid bond and
supporting documents in separate wax-sealed envelope and again
wax-sealed in one big envelope.
8.
The bids shall be opened at the Head Office of the Enterprise
in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at 2:00 P.M. local time on February 16, 2007.
9.
It is impossible for any bidders to quote bid price depending
on Price quoted by another bidder.
10. The
Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
without giving any reason thereof.
