1.
SOMALI REGIONAL STATE
through Government of Ethiopia has allocated budget from Food
security for the drilling of boreholes indicated in table below.
2.
Somali Regional State Water Resource Development Bureau
invites eligible & qualified bidders for the drilling of six sites.
3.
Eligible bidders of category 5 & above for drilling renewed
relevant license for 1999 E.C. registration card issued from the
Ministry of Water Resource VAT registration certificate.

4. The
award will be decided on site-basic in each site. Bidders may bid
for one or more site. If the bidder’s rig is occupied it is not
preferable.
5.
Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the bid
opening.
6. One
original & two copies of bid documents Technical & Financial
separately sealed with wax in separate envelope and marked Original
& Copy respectively.
7. Bid
documents may be purchased from SRS Water Resources Development
Bureau in the contract Administration Department for a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 for each project from the date of
announcement in The Ethiopian Herald.
8. All
bids must be accompanied by bid security of CPO 10,000 Birr
for each borehole the bid amount sealing with the original
technical proposals.
9. Bids
must be delivered to the above office not later than 21 calendar
days after publishing on The Ethiopian Herald at 12:00 A.M.
10. Bid
shall be opened at 2:00 P.M. on the same day in the presence of
bidders or representatives who choose to attend.
11. Eligible
bidders shall fulfill all questionnaires & Format in the bidding
documents & failing to do so may be a cause for rejection,
therefore, bidders are advised to read & fill the documents
properly.
12. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
