1. The
Amhara Rural Road Authority invites all eligible local contractors
bidders to submit Tenders for the construction of
Seroka-Erogoye-Abrahajira-Abderafi DS6 Rural Road Project (Km
0+000-Km 104+940) located in North Gondar Administrative Zone of the
Regional Government.
2.
To be eligible for tendering of this project, the contractors
must be duly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban
Development, in category GC-1/RC-1 with license valid for the
current fiscal year.
3. Tenderers
are required to present certificate of Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and also with
recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue Authority.
4.
A complete set of tendering documents may be purchased by
interested, eligible tenderers from our office addressed below, on
the submission of a written application and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr) Ethiopian Birr.
5.
Duplicate copies of tender with separate Technical
Qualification Document and Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed
envelopes, labeled as Original and Copy shall be placed in the box
accompanied by a security, in an acceptable form and most specified
in the tendering document (not less than 2% of the tender price) on
or before February 1, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the same address below.
6.
Tender will be opened on the same date at 2:30 P.M. in the
presence of the Authority in the presence of the tenderers or their
authorized representatives who choose to attend.
7.
The Amhara Rural Road Authority reserves the right to reject
any to all tenders.
