1. The
SNNPRS HADYA ZONE HOSSAENA TOWN ADMINISTRATION, HOSSAENA
MUNICIPALITY invites registered contractors GC-1 and RC-1 with
license valid for the year 1998 E.C. Tax Clarence and registered for
VAT to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor,
materials and equipment for the Construction of HOSSAENA TOWN
ARTERIAL ROAD PROJECT which is about 10 km total length with TRIPLE
SURFACE TREATMENT by phases.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the

3. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise has delegated Transport Construction
Design Share Company for the execution of the bid process for the
Road Project and to recommend the winner ranking as per the
construction Rule & Regulation of the County.
4. Each
prospective bidder proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of Clause 3 of the particular
instructions to bidders.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the
above address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 700
(Seven Hundred) for each set of document starting from the first
appearance of this advertisement on The Ethiopian Herald for the
coming 30 days. The final submission date and opening of the bid
proposals will be on the 31st date of this announcement
on The Ethiopian herald at 10:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. local time
receptively. A proposal, which is received late, will be returned
unopened to the respective bidder.
6.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian
Birr 100,000 (Birr One Hundred Thousand). The bid security
shall be payable on demand on the Enterprise, and must be
irrevocable Letter of Credit, or Bank Guarantee, or a Certified
Payment Order (CPO) at the bidders option.
The bid along with the bid security
must be delivered to Hossaena Arterial Road Project Office P.O. Box
25 Hossaena on/before the date and time specified above.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of Bidder/representatives who choose
to attend at the office of Arterial Road, Hosanna Municipality.
If the 31st date of this
announcement lies on a weekend or a holiday, the opening date will
be the next working day while the time remains the same.
The construction of the work shall
be completed within 180 Calendar days from commencement of
works.
8.
The SNNPRS HADYA ZONE HOSSAENA TOWN ADMINISTRATION, HOSSAENA
MUNICIPALITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive
informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceeds and do the
work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
