Description

To: All contractors of category GC/BC Class 5 and above with license valid for the year 1999 E.C. and can present registration certificate for construction work service from concerned organization.

1.      The AMHARA CREDIT & SAVING INSTITUTE has invited wax-sealed bids compromising of a Technical and Financial proposal for eligible bidders for providing the necessary labor, Material and equipment for the construction and completion of Micro Bank and Branch Office for Awi, Metema & Debre Tabor.

2.      Both the pre-qualification (Technical) and priced (Financial) bid documents may be obtained by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to ACSI and upon payment of non-refundable Birr 200 to whom all inquiries and correspondences should be addressed.

3.      Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond in the sum equal to 1% of the bid amount which shall remain in force for 90 calendar days from the bid opening date and shall be separately envelope. The successful bidders will be required to furnish a performance bond in the sum of 10% of the gross bid sum with in 15 days from signature.

4.      Bidders are warned that they read and comply in full with the “INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS”.

5.      The construction of works shall be completed within a maximum of 480 cal. Days form the commencement of works.

6.      All bids must be submitted based on the free market price and current basic materials price must be attached with the bid document.

7.      Both the pre qualification and priced bid documents shall be in separate envelopes & wax-sealed (one original & one copy).

8.      The weight given to the technical, financial & advance payment conditions are:

Technical 60%

Financial 38%

Advance payment conditions 2%

9.      Sealed pre-qualification & price bid documents shall be submitted to the Amhara Credit and Saving Institute up to the 15^th consecutive days at 12:00 A.M. beginning from the first date of advertisement. If the 15^th day is not a working day the submission date will be the next working day till 12:00 A.M. and shall be publicly opened on the same day and place at 2:00 P.M. then the name of the bidders and the amount of their bids will be declared for the bidders and/or the legal representatives of the bidder.

11.  Bidders must present certificate of VAT registration.

12.  The Amhara Credit and Saving Institute reserves the right to reject any or all bids without giving reasons.
