1. Oromia
Health Bureau obtained a budget from the Italian Cooperation and
would like to procure Office Equipment and Stationeries for Health
Institution & Office departments towards the cost of Health Sector
Development Program (HSDP). It is intended that part of the proceeds
of this budget will be applied to eligible payments under the
contract for the procurement of Office Equipment for Health
Institution & Office department in Local Competitive Bid.

The Oromia Health Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of Office Equipment for health
Institute & Office departments.
3. Bidders
have the option to bid for any one or more type(s) of item(s). Bids
will be evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for each item
taking into account discount offered, if any, for combined items in
determining the least evaluated bid of all items which will be the
bases for award of the contract (s).
4. Bidders
should have renewed trade license for 1999 E.C. Suppliers list
registration certificate from Ministry of Finance & Economic
Development (MOFED), VAT & TIN registration certificate while
purchasing this tender document and submitting your offer.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau Room No. 39, P.O. Box 24341, Kirkos Kifleketema Kebele

6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be repurchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the
above-mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 200 (Birr Two Hundred only).
7. Bids
must be delivered to office of Human Resources Administration
Department on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on date
23/05/1999 E.C. or 31/01/2007 and must be accompanied by security of
not less than 2% of the bid amount in the form of CPO or Bank
Guarantee from a reputable Bank.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
(Those who have a written representative's from their organization
to participate on the bid opening ceremony) who choose to attend at
3:30 P.M. in the afternoon on 23/05/1999 E.C. or 31/01/2007 at the
office of Human Resources Administration Department, Oromia Health
Bureau, Room No. 13. Finfinnee, Ethiopia

The Bureau reserves the right to reject or accept any or all
bids.
