1. The
Ministry of Works and Urban Development (MoWUD) invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the demolishing works of an old building
in the Ministry of Health headquarter compound in Addis Ababa.
2. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the Public procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all locally registered
contractors for category BC/GC 5 and above.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from Construction Works Coordinating Bureau (MoWUD) and inspect the
bidding documents at the address given below at 7 (a) from 9:00
A.M.-12:00 noon.
4. A
Complete set of hard copy of bidding documents in English may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below at 7 (b) upon
payment of non-refundable fee of Ethiopian fee of Ethiopian Birr 300
(Three Hundred). The method of payment will be in cash.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7 (c) (by placing them in
the tender box prepared for this purpose) at or before 12:00 noon
local time on February 5, 2007. All bids must accompanied by
a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousands) is the
form of Bank Guarantee, C.P.O. or Cash. Late bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives
who choose to attend at the address below at 7 (d) AT 2:00 P.M.
local time on February 5, 2007.

The Ministry reserves the right to accept all or part of the
bid.
