1. SNNPRS
Capacity Building Bureau (CBB) has received a loan from the
International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
public sector capacity building program (PSCAP), Justice System
Reform Program (JSRP) apply part of the proceeds of this loan
payments under the agreement(s) resulting from this IFB.
2. SNNPRS
CBB serves as the implementing agency for the project and now
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for 100,000 file folders,
600,000 different number color code labels (from 0 to 9) and 100,000
backup cards to be procured.
3. Bidding
will be conducted using National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s guidelines: procurement
under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from
eligible source that meet the following minimum qualification:
The bidders must be registered Value
Added Tax (VAT) and renewed their trade license for the current year
(1999 E.C.)
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from SNNPRS CBB at
the address given below from 2:30 to 6:30 to 11:30 Office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents prepared in English may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 100 Birr in cash from the Account sections of
SNNPRS CBB.

Bids must be delivered to the address: CBB, P.O. Box 1157,
Tel. 046 220 65 72/046 220 61 43, Awassa, on or before 30th
day of bid announcement and must be interested in the locked and
sealed box of this bidding. Late bids will be rejected bids will be
opened in the presence of the bidders/bidders’ representatives who
choose to attend in person at 9:00 A.M. on the next working day
after 30 days of bid announcement on The Ethiopian Herald.
7.
The attention of respective bidders is drawn to the fact that
they are required to certify in their bids that all software in
either covered by valid license or produced by the bidder. All bids
must be accompanied by bid security in the amount equivalent to 2%
of the aggregate price in Ethiopian Birr in the form of Bank
guarantee or CPO.

The CBB reserves the right to reject apart or all of the
