1. The
Ministry of Education, ICT Department has funds to be used for the
Procurement of the Digitization Equipment Supply, Instillation,
Networking and Training (Turnkey Solution).
2. The
Procurement Service Enterprise on behalf of Ministry of Education,
ICT Department hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the supply of Digitization Equipment Supply, Installation,
Networking and Training (Turnkey Solution) with inland
transportation, commissioning.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open international
tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement
Proclamation of the Government of the federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement
Service Enterprise and inspect the bidding documents at the
address below during office hours from Monday to Thursdays Morning
8:00 A.M.-12:00 noon and Afternoon 1:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. and Friday
Morning 8:00 A.M. -11:30 A.M. and Afternoon 1:30 P.M. -5:00 P.M.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred only)
from the office of the Procurement Service Enterprise 1st
Floor Room No. 2.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before February 15,
2007 at 2:30 P.M. All bids must be accompanied by bid security
of amounting Birr 100,000.00 One Hundred Thousand Birr only) or an
equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids shall
be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below on
February 15, 2007 at 2:30 P.M.
7. The
bid opening date and hour shall be February 15, 2007 at 2:30 P.M.
8. The
purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
