1999 EC.
1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation invites all eligible
Contractors Category of GC/BC class IV (4) and above, who would be
financially and technically capable to furnish the necessary
materials, labor and equipment to undertake renovation of EEPCo Head
Office Ground Floor IT Offices.
2. The
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased as of January 10,
2007. from EEPCO-Head Office, Local Purchasing Division, De Gaulle
Square, Room No. 212 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 200. Additional sets of
document may be purchased at the same price.
3. Bidders

4. Bids
should be submitted with ONE ORIGINAL AND TWO COPIES FOR TENDER AND
PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS each separately in a wax-sealed envelope
before or on the closing date at 11:30 hrs local time.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of
a certified check, latter of credit or a bank guarantee from a
reputable bank of the bidder’s choice located in Ethiopia for an
amount 2% and must be submitted on or before February 21, 2007,
11:30 hrs local time, at the address:

6. Bids
will be opened at EEPCO’s club near Mexico Square at 14:00 hrs local
time on or before February 24, 2007 in the presence of bides or
their legal representatives who choose to attend.

Bidders are requested to fill the necessary details in the
schedules.

Completion time is 150 Cal. Days.
9.
The bidders must be VAT registered and have certificate from
the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
10. Tender
Document, Pre-Qualification Document & Bid Bond should be submitted
in different envelopes.
11. The
