Assela Malt Factory invites all interested bidders to participate in
a bid for the supply of 9,000 metric tons of two-row spring and/or
winter-cleaned malt barley. You are kindly requested to quote your
best competitive FOB and C& F Djibouti port price 9,000 metric ton
of cleaned malt barley based on the following terms and conditions
1.
Detailed specifications and tender documents could be
collected from Addis Ababa Liaison Office, Mexico Square, Coffee &
Plantation Building or from Assela Malt Factory office with payment
of non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Fifty only0.
2.
FOB
and fright component of the C& F
price should be given separately.
3.
Quote unit and total price in currency of EUR or in USD for:-
Bulk with empty p.p bags marked with
the name of the consignee and consignor.
50 kgs woven p.p gag deliver
separately and terms of payment.
4.
Packing: The packing materials should be affect the
Germination of the grain.
5.
Representative sample of 2kg tow row spring and/or winter
cleaned malt barley must be delivered 7 days before the bid opening
date.
6.
The malt barley shall be of crop year 2005/2006=2006 or
2006/2007=2007.
7.
All bids must be accompanied by bid security of 2% of the bid
value in the form of CPO or certified cheque confirmed by Commercial
Bank of Ethiopia in sealed envelope.
8. The
bid will be closed on August 10, 2007, at 2:00 PM.
9. The
bid will be opened on August 10, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Addis Ababa
Liaison Office in the presence of bidders or representatives who are
interested to attend.
10. Assela
