1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) has allocated a budget
in various currencies towards the cost of Supply of Destitution
Materials.
2. The
Program consists of distribution extension and maintenance works in
various part of the country.
3. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) now invites sealed bids
from all internationally competitive bidders of the world to
participate in the bid for the design, manufactures, installation
(for lot-5) and supply of Distribution Materials under the following
Lots.
Lot
1- Medium Voltage Switchgear
Lot 2- Termination and Joints
kits
Lot 3-18/36 kv UG Cables
Lot 4- Distribution Net
station Accessories
Lot 5-Prepayment Electricity
Integrated System
4.
Bidders should submit complete offer for all sub-items under
the main item.
5.
All local bidders shall have a valid business license and
local agents shall have a valid commission agent license.
6.
Bidders shall have prior considerable experience in design
and supply of similar size and type of goods as required by the
specific tender.
7.
The bid document shall be available from July 6, 2007
onwards against payment receipt of Birr 500 (Five Hundred) for a lot
from the Procurement Division. All bids must be accompanied by bid
security as per the bid requirement, and must be delivered to the
address below at or before
4:00 PM local time (Addis Ababa) on August 29, 2007.
8. Bids
will be opened on August 30, 2007 at 10:00 local time in the
presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend the bid
opening to be held at Mexico Square, EEPCo Club, Addis Ababa.
9. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
any or all bids and any items on the bid.
10. Bidders
are advised to submit their offer after examining the bid document
very carefully.
