INVITATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF
MOBILE APPARATUS
TENDER No. TL/FL/04/2007

Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) (Fixed Line) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Mobile Apparatus.

1. the tender remains floating from July 19, 2007 until August 8, 2007.  Bid documents can be obtained from ETC’s Legehar Building 3^rd floor Office room No. 332 (Addis Ababa) during office hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 20 (Twenty Birr). Bidders should submit all their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies (if they are registered) when they come to obtain the bid documents.
    
2. Bidders all furnish as part of their bid, security of Birr 3,00 (Birr Three Thousand only)
    
3. The bid bond must be in either of the following form:

a)      Cash

b)      Certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or

c)      Bank quarantee from recognized Bank 

4. Bidders who whish to submit bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit to ETC fixed line Medhin Insurance Building Ground floor on or before August 8, 2007 at 5:00 P.M. and produce the receipt during the bid opening.
    
5. Bidders should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at 3^rd floor Room No. 321 on or before August 8, 2007 at 5:00 P.M.
    
6. Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC (Fixed line) Legehar Building 4^th floor Room No. 420 on August 9, 2007 at 3:00 P.M.
    
7. Partial bid is allowed.
    
8. The Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
