The Addis Ababa
Water Sewerage Authority invites General contractors of Grade 5 and
above with a registration certificate from Ministry of Works and
Urban Development.
1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested bidders
for the CONSTRUCTION OF
WATER PIPELINE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
FOR BURAYU TOWN, OROMIA STATE.
2.
The bid documents shall be available from the same office
against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 during
office hours upon presentation of registration certificate from the
Federal Ministry of Finance & Economic Development, renewed trade
license for the year & VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the Office of
A.A.W.S.A.’s Materials Management Department, P.O. Box 1505 Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011-662 00 10, 011-662 49 72, Fax (251-11) 662
49 72. Bidders are required to submit valid trade license for the
Year 2006.
4. All
bids shall be accompanied by a security of 1% of the bid price in
the form of Bank, Guarantee Insurance Bond or Cashier’s Payment
Order (C.P.O.) or Cash. Bid Bond in any other form shall not be
acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in one original & one copy envelope with
financial offer.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 shall be found in the
original technical envelope, and are submitted in the tender box on
the closing date
7. Bid
security should be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the
tender box together with the original technical envelopes.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 10:00 A.M.
local time on July 26, 2007.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
representatives who wish to attend, on July 26, 2007 at 10:30
A.M. local time.
10. Failure
to comply with any one of the conditions from (4) to (8) indicated
above shall result in automatic rejection.
11. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
