RENOVATION PROJECT-
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION CONSULTANCY
SERVICE
Kombolcha Textile Share Company has
received fund from government for partial renovation of the factory
in view of promoting the company competitiveness in the
international textile market.
Our company likes to get consultancy
service (contract for service) the overall management of the project
so as to conclude it effectively and economically with the specified
project implementation schedule and time frame.
The scope of the service shall
include all the necessary professional assistance to the company
management in the implementation of the renovation project until the
project until the project handing over. This includes, but not
limited to,
1.
Preparation of project implementation action plan and
program.
2.
Preparation of complete specification of all machineries,
equipments and accessories of the project.
3.
Preparation of complete set of bid document for open tender
with objective and transparent evaluation criteria, evaluation of
the bidders technical and financial proposals with proposals with
professional due care and,
4.
Preparation of complete set of contract document and
contracting,
5.
Project administration and monitoring until handing over.
6.
Provide technical support on and after implementation for the
project life.
7.
Provide all relevant training and awareness to company’s
technical staffs.
8.
Project handing over.
The service shall cover only for the
purchase of machineries, equipments and related accessories and
parts of spinning, weaving, finishing and support service listed
under this project documents and any revision thereon.
The company now invites eligible
international consultants to indicate their interest in providing
the respective services. Interacted consultants can collect terms of
reference (TOR) from our branch office in Addis Ababa or by e-mail
and provide adequate information indicating that they are qualified
to perform the services (company profile and brochures, Description
of similar assignments, experience in similar services, availability
of relevant skills among staff, etc.)
The consultants are expected to be
clear with the over all project objectives and purposes and provide
clearly articulated technical and financial proposal in a separately
scaled envelope to undertake the service.
The consultant will be selected in
accordance with the evaluation criteria stated on the TOR.
Bid document will be opened at our
branch office in Addis Ababa on 26 August 2007 at 10:00 AM, with the
presence of the bidders.
