The Amhara
Regional Agricultural Research Institute (ARARI) now invites
eligible interested bidders for the construction of Gondar
Agricultural Research Center OFFICE BUILDING, GARAGE, VEHICLES
SHED and GUARD HOUSE & WATCH TOWER at GONDAR TOWN
1.
Bidders are required to present currently renewed trade
license and their Registration Certificate for consultancy
service from the Ministry/Bureau of Finance & Public Works and
Urban Development.
2. Bidders
should be registered in the Value Added tax /VAT/ & TIN.
3. Interested
eligible bidders on the submission of written application can
purchase a complete set of the bidding documents, against payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) from ARARI
Finance Service 1st Floor, Room No. 109 during official
working hours.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable form of
1% of the total bid amount in separate envelope.
5.
Bidders should submit their offer (one original & one copy
for both prequalification/Technical and priced financial/document
separately.) in a wax-sealed envelop with full address and deposit
at ARARI, Property Administration and General service 1st
Floor, Room No. 112 in the tender box provided. The documents must
be delivered to ARARI before the deadline.
6. Bids
will be closed at 9:30 AM on the 21st working day of this
announcement & will be opened at ARARI Meeting Hall on the same day
at 10:00 AM in the presence of
bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
7.
Bidders could request advance payment up to 30% of the total
bid price by proving advance payment guarantee. But for those
bidders who bid not request advance payment 2% qualifying criteria
will be added.
8.
Rejection Criteria: The employer will reject the bidder whose
bid does not fulfill the following conditions. A/Bidders should
attach/present during bid purchasing/currently renewed trade license
& Renewed registration certificate to the technical document. B/
Bidders should submit one original & one copy for both technical and
financial document separately sealed envelop. C/ Bidders must
present Certificate of VAT registration.
9.
The successful bidders shall furnish Professionals
indemnity insurance.
10. Cost
dependable on other bidders is not permitted & will not be
processed.
11. All
bids must be submitted based on Ethiopian birr.
12. ARARI
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
