- The Amhara
National Regional State has received Financial support from the
Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) to finance the
project cost of RASP/ Anticipatory project of A-Sew Cap/and it
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this support to payments
under the contract for the supply and delivery of computers and
accessories.

- The bidder is
expected to furnish all information required by the invitation to
bidders and schedule of requirements. Failure to do so may result
in rejection of its offer.
- Bids must be
accompanied by a security bond in an acceptable form of 1% of the
total bid amount in separate envelope by Certified Cheque
(C.P.O).
- A complete
set of document in English may be obtained by an interested
eligible bidder on the submission of written application to the
ANRS Bureau of Capacity building and up on non refundable payment
of Birr 100.00(One Hundred Birr) in cash with in 21 consecutive
calendar days starting from the date of this bid announcement
during the official working hours up on presentation of
certificate of registration on the service providers, currently
renewed trade license and certificate of VAT registration.
- The bid
document shall be signed by the bidder or person duly authorized
to bind the bidder to the contract.
- The bidder
shall seal the bid document in envelope, addressing to the
purchaser.
- As related to
the quality of equipments, the successful bidders shall give 12
months warranty from the date of delivery for factory defects and
shall also warranty that they are new and unused.
- The bidder
shall attach the documentary evidences, specified here under.

- Award will be
made to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder who has necessary
capability and resources to carry out the contract satisfactorily.
- The winner
will be selected based on the least price quoted in each goods.

- Bids must be
delivered to the address below stated at the end of this IFB. Bids
will be closed at 2:00 PM
on August 21, 2007.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/ their legal
representatives who choose to present in person at
2:30 PM on August 21, 2007.
Late bids will be rejected.
