1. This
Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this
Project that appeared in Development Business, issues no. 683of 31
July 2006.
2. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association toward the cost of
Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, Public Sector Capacity Program
Support Project.- PSCAP and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the
procurement of Goods for Computers & Network Items.
3. The
Ethiopian Information Communication Technology Development Agency,
Public Sector Capacity Program Support Project.- PSCAP now
invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply
of the following:

4. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: procurement
under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders from
Eligible Source Countries and defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian ICT
Development Agency; public Sector Capacity program support
Project-PSCAP Project and inspect the Bidding Documents during
working days and hours from 8:30AM to 12:30 and from1:30PM to 5:30PM
at the address given below.

a complete set of bidding documents in English language may
be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
Application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 150,00(one Hundred Fifty Birr).
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before10:00AM on 30
August 2007. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids
will be rejected. Bids will be open in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who chose to attend in person or on-line at
the Conference Hall, 11th floor using Lift No.2 or Lift
NO. 3 Dembel City Center at
10:30AM on 30 August 2007. A bid
Security of not less than 2% of the bid amount or a equivalent
amount must accompany all bids.
