This Invitation for bids follows the General Procurement
Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue
No. 627 of March 2004.
2.
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received
credit from the International Development Association toward the
cost of Public Sector
Capacity Building Program-(PSCAP)
and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for
Supply, Delivery, and installation of Generators.
3.
The Justice and Legal System Research Institute now invites
sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply,
Delivery, and Installation of Generators.

4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Justice and
Legal System Research Institute (JLSRI) Justice System Reform
Program, Office No. 49 and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below from
9:00 to 12:00 AM and from 14:00 to
17:00 PM (Local time) Monday to Friday.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders as of July 05, 2007 from
9:00-12:00 AM and 14:00-17:00 PM (Monday to Friday) on the
submission of a written Application to the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Birr Fifty) or an
equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The method of
payment will be Cash or Cashier check.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before
10:00 AM. (Local time)
on 06 August 2007. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late
bids will be rejected. Bid will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend in person at
10:30 AM (Local time) on
06 August 2007. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security
of not less than ETB 10,000.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely
convertible currency.
