The Office of the Road Fund Administration of the Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has allocated sufficient
budget toward the cost of Consultancy Services for the construction
supervision of the following Periodic Road Maintenance Project to be
undertaken by ERA’s District Road Maintenance Contractors (DRMC)
during EFY 2000.
i)
Periodic Maintenance of Road Projects under Alemgena District
(Bue Amele-Robgebeya, Tulu Bolo-Kegnie and Kegnie-Kela projects).
ii)
Period Maintenance of Road projects under Adigrat District
(Shire-Tekeze-Boya wonz, Kuha-Maymeden and Mekele-Abiadi projects)
iii)
Periodic Maintenance of Road projects under Combolcha
District (Combolcha-Bati, Bati-Milie, Milie-Logya and Serdo-Galafi
projects)
iv)
Period Maintenance of Road project under Debremarkos
District) (Dejen-Debremarkos and Dejen-Mota projects).
v)
Periodic Maintenance of Road projects under Dire Dawa
District (Harer-Combolcha-Jarso, Jijiga-Teferiber and Dire Dawa
Approach road Retaining wall projects.
vi)
Periodic Maintenance of Road project under Gonder District (Adiarkay-Boya
and Addiszemen-Nibnet Projects)
vii)
Periodic Maintenance of road project under Jimma District (Mizanteferi-Bekeka
and Metu-Alge projects)
viii)
Periodic Maintenance
of Road project under Nekempt District (Nekempt-Dedes Bridget and
Assossa-Dabus projects)
ix)
Periodic Maintenance
of Road projects under Sodo District (Kilkile-Yabelo-Mega, Mega-Negele
and Woyto-Erbore projects
x)
Periodic Maintenance
of Road projects under Shashemene District (Shashemene-Alaba,
Agereselam-Bore and Bore-Kibremengist projects).
2.
The Ethiopian Roads Authority invites all experienced local
Consultants registered at the Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development (MOFED) under the prevailing Finance Regulation issued
by the Council of Ministers for the Consultancy Services of the
above mentioned Ten projects.
3. The
Consultants should renew their registration License for 1999
Ethiopian Calendar.
4. Interested
consultants may obtain further information and collect the Request
for Proposal Document from Ethiopian Roads Authority Headquarter, 2nd
Floor, Room No. 204, Fax. 251-1-551 00 82, Tel. 011-515 30 15.
5. The
RFP can be purchased as of June 9, 2007 up on presentation of a
Registration Certificate from MOFED, VAT Registration Certificate
and on submission of a written application to the Director General
of ERA and upon payment of non-refundable fee of ETB 150.00 (One
Hundred Fifty Ethiopian Birr) for each project made payable to
Ethiopian Roads Authority.
6. The
proposals for the subject project should be prepared in one original
and four copies and must be submitted to the Director General Office
by the following address on or before the submission date and time
stated in the RFP.

7.
The proposal will be opened after the closing time for
submission in the presence of ERA’s Contract Award Committee (CAC) &
Consultant’s representatives who wish to attend.
8.
A proposal, which is received late, will not be considered.
9. ERA
reserves the right to reject r accept any or all proposals.
