Description

1.      The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Public Sector Capacity Building Program (PSCAP), and intends to apply part of this Credit to eligible payments on lump sum contract for the provision of TRAINING SERVICES.

2.      The TRAINING SERVICES include provision of training in the following mandated areas to be implemented immediately.

1. Basic Windows Server Course

2. Oracle Database

3. Development Tools

4. Basic A+ Certification Courses

5. Security and Messaging Basic Course

6. Cisco Basic Courses

3.      The Ministry of Revenue now invites all eligible TRAINING PROVIDERS/ FIRMS to indicate/express their interest in providing the required TRAINING SERVICES mentioned above.

4.      A trainer before submitting its expression of interest should note that it:

1. Is expected to produce license and/or certifications from multinational corporations selling the products and services i.e., a training company must have certification for providing the courses from Microsoft Corporation for the Windows Server and other Microsoft products, from Oracle Database Management System and development tools, from Cisco for Cisco courses and from CompTIA for the A+ certification.

2. Must have a training center with the requirement equipment and software in its lab.

5.      Training Providers/Firms will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection & Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers May 2004 Edition.

6.      Interested TRAINING PROVIDES/FIRMS must clearly indicate/write the list/names of the training title/s that they would like to indicate or express their interest; from the required list for the provision of the training-as indicated in Number 2 above. Interested TRAINING PROVIDERS/FIRMS may obtain further information at the address below during office hours.

7.      Expression of interest must be delivered to the address below in Two (2) copies on/before 5:30 PM July 6, 2007. Save, Expression of Interest received late will not be considered.

8.      Only Short listed Training Providers/Firms will be invites to submit the Request for proposals (RFP).
