GC/BC Class 5 and above with license valid for the current fiscal
year.
1.
The Bahir Dar City Administration Education Office now
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the furnishing of the
necessary labor, materials & equipment for the construction &
completion of G+4 building having 25 class rooms at Bahir Dar.
Therefore, interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding
documents at, the address below.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidders up on the submission of written application to the
above mentioned office starting from June 19, 2007 and up on payment
of non-refundable fee 300 Birr.
3. The
construction work shall be completed within a maximum of 300
calendar days.
4.
All bids must be submitted based on the free market price and
current basic materials price must be submitted attached with the
bid document.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable form of
1% of the bid amount, and must be delivered to Bahir Dar City
Administration Education Office on or before 2:00 PM on July 9,
2007.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend in the same date and place at 2:30 PM.
7. Rejection
Criteria: The Client will reject bidder whose bid doest not fulfill
the following conditions.

Bidders should
present currently renewed Trade License & renewed Registration
Certificate VAT Registration Certificate and Tax payer
Registration Certificate.

Bidders should
complete the bid form and the appropriate price schedule.

The original &
copy of the bid shall be signed and sealed in all pages by the
bidders.

Bidders should
submit one original & one copy envelopes of the bid.
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
