1.
The East Gojam Administrative Zone invites all Contractors
GC/BC category IV and above who have renewed license for the year
1999 E.C. Value Added TAX and TAX Identification numbers certificate
to give unit price tenders for the construction of EAST Gojam
Administrative Office Building.
2.
The project consists of office building and other restated
works such as Site works, Fence works, Guard House etc.
3.
Tender document for the project may be obtained from East
Gojam Administrative Office No. 8. Debre Markos, Tel. 058-771 10 1,
058-771 32 28, P.O. Box 44, Fax. 058-771 31 58, 058-771 24 57
starting from first day of advertisement upon payment of Birr 300
upon presentation of renewed trade license for the year 1999,
renewed Ministry of Works and Urban development registration
license.
4.
Request for clarification on the technical arts of the bid
can be forwarded to Dimensions-consulting Architects and Engineers,
Tel. 011-442 13 32, P.O. Box 489, Code 1250 Addis Ababa.
5.
Wax-sealed bid documents one original and one copy for both
pre qualification (technical) and price (financial) shall be
delivered to East Gojam Administration Zone, Office No. 27, Debre
Markos on or before the 7th working day beginning from
the first day of advertisement and before 6:00 local time of he
final submission date. If the 7th day is not a working
day the final submission date shall be the next working day. The
bids shall be opened on the same day at 8:00 local time.
The envelopes shall be submitted as
follows.
5.1
A separate envelope sealed and marked “CPO” carrying the bid
security and the letter of application.
5.2
A second envelope sealed and marked “Original Tender
document” carrying the original of the documents.
5.3
A third envelope sealed and marked “Copy of Tender Document”
carrying the copy of eth document.
All envelopes shall be inserted in a
bigger and sealed envelope.
5.4
All envelope shall bear the following reference” Tender for
the construction of East
Gojam Zone Administrative
Office Building.
5.5
All envelopes shall bear full address of bidders
6.
Bids shall be opened at the office whose address in described
in item 5.
7.
Tenders are required to submit CPO in the sum of not less
than 2% of the tender amount.
8.
The successful tender will be required to finish a
performance bond in the sum not less than 10% of the total sum of
contract.
9.
Tender are advised to read the instructions to tender before
filling their bids.
10.
East Gojam Zone Administration reserves the right to reject
any or all tender with out giving reason for. |
