John Snow, Inc. would like to invite interested and eligible bidders
for the development of electronic Health Management Information
System (HMIS). HMIS is a project funded by United States Agency for
International Development (USAID).
Vendor qualifications
a)
The vendor shall provide proof of having been established in
Ethiopia as a software development firm for the past five years. The
vendor shall also supply proof that at least 3-5 professional
programmers have been employed by the firm at all times during the
past five years.
b)
The vendor shall supply the CVs of the software developers
who will be assigned to the project. These individuals must be
available for interview during the proposal review process.
Substitution of other developers will be considered as cause for
termination of the contract.
c)
Proof that the vendor has successfully developed, deployed,
and supported software in regions and Woredas outside Addis Ababa is
preferred.
d)
The vendor shall supply the name and contact information of
at least give institutions that have employed the vendor and can
vouch the quality of the product supplied.
e)
Oversight of the development process will be provided by an
ICT specialist in health information systems contracted separately.
