Re-Bids
1.
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested
bidders for the supply of uPVC FITTINGS AND APPURTENANCES FOR WATER
SUPPLY.
2.
The Bid documents shall be obtained from the same office
against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 during office
hours upon presentation of registration certificate from the Federal
Ministry of Finance, renewed trade license for the year & VAT
registration certificate.
3.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at
the Office of A.A.W.S.A.;s purchase Division located at Megenagana,
P.O. Box 1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011-662 00 10/011-662 18
02, Fax (251-011) 662-39 24.
4.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 10,000
up to 50,000 in the form of Bank Guarantee or Certified payment
Order (C.P.O.) or Cash for each lot. Bid bond in any other form
shall not be acceptable.
5.
Bids shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1.
Technical envelope 2. Financial envelope each having one original
and one copy.
6.
All eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 shall be found
in the original technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender
box on the closing date.
7.
Bid bond shall be in a separate envelope and be submitted in
the tender box together with the original technical envelope.
8.
If the supplier is not manufacturer he shall provide an
affidavit of compliance (Suppliers Authorization) from the
manufacturer.
9.
All bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for
this purpose at or before 10:00 A.M. local time on July 10, 2007.
10.
Bids will opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
official representatives who wish to attend, on July 10, 2007 at
10:30 A.M. local time.
11.
Failure to comply with any one of the conditions from (4) to
(9) indicated above shall result in automatic rejection.
12.
The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
