1. The
Request for expressions of interest follows the general procurement
notice for this project that appeared in Development Business notice
number 695, 31 January 2007. The Federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia has received a grant from the International Development
Association (IDA) toward the cost of NBE-Financial sector Capacity
Building Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
this grant to payments on Quality-and Cost-Based selection (QCBS)
for recruitment of International consultants for IT assessment and
database creation (RFP 1/QCBS/H239-ET).
2. The
National Bank of Ethiopia, Financial Sector Capacity Building
Project (NBE-FSCBP) now invites eligible consultants to indicate
their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants
must provide information indicating that they are qualified to
perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments,
experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills
among staff, etc). Consultants may associate to enhance their
qualifications.
3. A
consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set
out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of
Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.
4. Interested
consultants may obtain further information at the address below from
9:00 AM-12AM and 1:30 PM-4:30 PM local time Monday-Friday.
5. Expression
of interest must be delivered to the address below on or before 4:00
PM, June 25, 2007. Expression of interest received late will not be
considered.
6. Only
short listed consultants will be invited to submit the request for
proposal.
