This request for expression of interest follows the general
procurement notice for this project at the appeared in Development
Business No. 673 of February 2006.
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit
from International Development Association (IDA) and intends to
apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the
contract for consultancy services for Revenue Sector Reform Program.
The Services include provision of Consulting Services to Building
the Capacity of Institute of Tax and Customs Administration. The
Consultancy assignment is targeted toward the development of the
Institute of Tax and Customs Administration (ITCA) through building
the capacity of its staff in managing and delivering courses and
assisting the institute in the provision of training, professional
education and consultancy.
Duration given for the assignment if
7 (seven) weeks.
The Ministry of Revenue now invites eligible consultants to indicate
their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants
must provide information indicating that they are qualified in
perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments,
experience in similar in conditions, availability of appropriate
skills among staff, etc.) Consultants may associate to enhance their
qualifications.
A
consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set
out in the World Bank’s guidelines: Selection and Employments of
Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.
