Description

To: All qualified consulting firms with license valid for the year 1999 E.C. and can present registration certificate for consulting work service from concerned organization.

1.       The Bureau of Works and Urban Development has invites wax-sealed bids for provision of consultancy services for the translation of Capacity Building for Decentralized Service Delivery study documents from English to Amharic. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from:

2.       Pre qualification (Technical) and Price (Financial) documents shall be in separate sealed envelopes and must be accompanied by a bid security in an acceptable form of 1% of the total bid amount in separate envelope.

3.       Wax-sealed bid documents (One original and One copy) shall be delivered for both prequalification (Technical) and priced (Financial) documents separately.

4.      Sealed pre-qualification and period bid documents shall be submitted to the Bureau of Works and Urban Development on or before the 20^th calendar day beginning from the first date of advertisement at 12:00 A.M. If the 20^th day is not a working day the submission date will be the next working day at 12:00 A.M. an shall be publicly opened the same day and place at 2:00 P.M. hours when the names of the bidders and the amount of their bids will be declared. Bidders are advised to attend the opening of bids.

5.      Rejection Criteria: The employer will reject the bidder whose bid doesn’t fulfill the following conditions.

1. Bidders should attach currently renewed Trade license & renewed Registration certificate to the technical document and present during bid purchasing.

2. Bidders should submit one original & one-copy for both Technical and Financial document separately sealed envelope.

6.      Bidders must present certificate of VAT registration.

7.      The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
