1. The
National Regional State of Oromia has secured budget to cover
eligible payment under the contract for construction of Civil Works
for Maqa Dam, Appurtenant structures and Access Road located in East
Wallagga Zone of the Oromia Region.
2. The
Projects consists of construction of 18m high rock-fill dam,
spillway, intake tower, outlet works, and 2.7 Km access road.
3. The
Oromia Water Resources Bureau invites contractors of Category GC I
renewed their license for the year 1999 E.C. for the construction of
Civil Works for Maqa Dam, Appurtenant and Access Road.

Until 5 days before the tender closing date by presenting Renewed
Relevant License, Registration Card for VAT, TAX payer Registration
Certificate (Tax Identification Number/TIN) and currently registered
with the Ministry of Works & Urban Development or Ministr76y of
Water Resources together wit written application and payment of
a non-refundable sum of Birr 1,000 (Birr One Thousand only).

5. Bids
must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 1% of the
contract price in the form of Bank Guarantee or CPO cheque and shall
be delivered to Oromia Water Resources Bureau, Bole Road 6th
Floor Room No. 6/4, on or before April 10, 2007, 12:00 A.M. and bids
will be opened at the presence of bidders / representatives on the
same date at 2:00 P.M. at the assembly Hall of the Bureau.
6. Bids
shall be valid for a period of (120) days after bid opening.
7. The
Oromia Water Resources Development Bureau reserve the right to
reject any or all bids.
