1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the
International Development Association (IDA)-towards the cost of the
Public Sector Capacity Building program, and it intends to apply
part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for
the Supply and Delivery of computers & accessories, office
furniture, and equipment under-IFB NO. BG-/G-01/06/07.
2. The
Benishangul Gumuz Capacity Building Coordinating Bureau now invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply and Delivery of the
following Goods. Bidding will be conducted through National
Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedures.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from Benishangul Gumuz Capacity Building Coordination Bureau,

getasewdi@yahoo.com and may inspect the bidding documents at the
addressed indicated under section 6 or 7 below.

Bidders have the option to bid for one or more of the lots
and for 100% of the quantities in each lot. Incomplete lots will not
be accepted. The bidders shall quote for 100% of the quantities of
each item of the lot. Bids quoted for partial quantities will be
rejected.
5.
A complete set of bidding document in ENGLISH may be
purchased by interested bidders from the Ministry of Federal Affairs
during office hours at Room No. 107 upon the submission of a written
Application to the address below and payment of a non-refundable fee
of 50 Birr (Birr Fifty). The method of payment will be in cash only.
6.
Bids must be delivered to the address below.

Wax-sealed bid documents (1 original
& 2 copies) shall be delivered to the Ministry of Federal Affairs,
Addis Ababa, Room No. 107, on or before 9 A.M. 16, April 2007
(European time).
Late bids will be rejected. Bid will
be opened in the presence of the bidders/bidders’ representatives
who choose to present in person at 10:00 A.M. on the same date at
the Ministry of Federal Affairs, Room No. 107 Addis Ababa.
All bodies must be accompanied by a
bid security in the amount of Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand Birr) in the
form of a certified check, CPO or Bank Guarantee which will e
payable on first demand by the Benishangul Gumuz Regional State
Capacity Building Coordination Office.
