1. Afar
Regional State Through the Government of Ethiopia has received a
credit (hereinafter called “credit”) from THE WORLD BANK toward the
cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project and intends to apply
part of the funds to cover eligible payment under the Contract for
Procurement of Motor Bikes with Accessories and Spare Parts, Laptop
and Desk Tope Computers with Printers & UPS and Office Furniture’s
for the Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Program in the
region.

The Afar Regional State Water Resources Bureau now invites

Bidding documents may be purchased at Afar Regional State
Water Resources Bureau, Semera, Program Support Office, 2nd
Floor. Room No. 4 P.O. Box 59, Tel. 033-666 02 85 Semera for a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 Interested bidders may obtain
further information at the same Address.

Bids shall be valid for a periods of Ninety (90) days after
bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of not less than
2% of the total bid price, and shall be delivered to Afar Regional
State Water Resources Bureau, Semera Program Support Office, 2nd
floor Room No. 4, P.O. Box 59, Tel. 033-666 02 85 Semera on or
before 9:00 A.M. April 5, 2007. Bids shall be opened at 9:30 A.M.
April 5, 2007 in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
5. Bidders
should present renewed license, VAT registration card and suppliers
registration certificate.
6. Afar
Regional State Water
Resources Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the
bid.
