1.
The ELU WEREDA COUNCIL has allocated a Budget for Elu Wereda
health Department to wards the cost of Health Sector Development
Program (HSDP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover
eligible payments under the contract for the CONSTRUCTION OF ASGORI
HEALTH POST.
2.
Elu Wereda Health Department invites wax-sealed bids from
eligible bidders to all national contractors of class GC/BC 6 and
above and regularly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban
Development and who have renewed their license for the current year
fiscal year and have VAT registration certificate. One original and
tow copies of bid documents separately sealed with wax should be
packed in a bigger outer covering envelope.
3. Bidding
documents (and additional copies) may be purchased from Elu Woreda
Health Department Health Service Team, Room No. 4 Taji for a
non-refundable fee Birr 100 (Hundred Birr only) from March 16 to
March 26, 2007. Interested bidders may obtain further information at
the same address.
4. Bids
shall bid valid for a periods of 90 days after bid opening and must
be accompanied by bid security of AT LEAST 2% OF THE PROJECT COST or
its equivalent in a freely convertible currency in a form of CPO,
unconditional bank guarantee or in cash, and shall be delivered to
Elu Woreda Health Department on or before 29th March 2007
at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon along with the bid documents at which
time the bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or their
representatives and who wish to attend.
5. Completion
time for the construction work will be 90 calendar days.
6. All
questionnaires and formats in the bidding documents shall be filled
by eligible bidders and failing to do so may be cause for rejection,
and therefore bidders are advised to read the bidding date properly
and respond accordingly.
7. The
Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
