The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a
loan from the African Development Bank in various currencies to
finance the cost of Education III Project. It is intended that part
of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments
under the contract for the procurement of Equipments.
2.
The Oromia Regional State Education Bureau now invites sealed
bids from eligible bides with VAT registration, suppliers list and
license valid for the year with VAT registration, suppliers list and
license valid for the year 2006/7 for the supply of Equipments for
54 Elementary schools in different Zones which are categorized in 7
(Seven) lots. The bidders can participate in one or more lots.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from and inspect the bidding documents from Oromia Bureau of
Education at the office of Property Administration and General

4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bides on the submission of a written application to the above
section and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100 (One Hundred
Birr).
5. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on or before 10:00 A.M.
on May 3, 2007
and must be accompanied by a security of 2% of the bid amount
accompanied by an acceptable CPO or bank guarantee.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend, on May 3, 2007, 10:30 A.M.

7. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 60 calendar days after bid opening
date.

The Bureau has the right to accept to or reject any or all
