Mekelle
University, hereby needs to hire contractors and consultants for
construction, Supervision and Preparation of Proposals for projects
to the build in different campuses of Mekelle University, Mekelle,
Tigray
Regional State.
1) The
contractors and consultants should have a valid renewed license for
1999 E.C, renewed Regional or Federal registration of MoWUD for 1999
E.C. and certificate of VAT registration.
2) All
Consultants of Grade 5 and above are invited for preparation of
Proposals and for supervision services.
3) Bid
documents (and additional copies) can be purchased from the
university for a non-refundable fee of:
Contractors
Birr 50 (Fifty Birr) for each
document for Lot-6, Lot-7 or Lot-8
Birr 400 (Four Hundred Birr) for
each document of Lot-1, Lot-2, Lot-4 or Lot-5
Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr) for
each document of Lot-3
Consultants
Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty Birr)
for each supervision documents of Lot-1, Lot-2, Lot-3, Lot-4 or
Lot-5
Birr 150 (One Hundred Birr) for each
RFP documents of Lot-9 or Lot-10.
4) Bid
document can be obtained from:- Room 15, Administration Building,
Main Campus, Mekelle University (MU), Mekelle,
Ethiopia

5) Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after bid opening
and must be accompanied by security in the amount 1% (One percent)
of the bid amount but not exceeding Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred
Thousand), or its equivalent in convertible currency, and shall be
delivered to the aforementioned address.
6) Closing
time for submission of bid will be at the end of 3:30 local time of
the 30th day to be counted from the date of announcement
of the tender and its opening time will be on the same day, at 4:00
local time. If the 30th day is not working day, the bid
will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next
working day.
7) Mekelle
University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the
