The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation invites all eligible
contractors category of GC/BC class IV and above with renewed
license valid for the year 1999 E.C. who would be financially and
technically capable to furnish the necessary materials,. Labor and
equipment to undertake Construction works of EEPCO District Office
in, CHANCHO, HOLLETA & WOLKITE. Bidders must be VAT registered.

The complete set of bidding documents can be purchased as of
19, March 2007 from EEPCo-Head Office, Procurement Division, De
Gaulle Square, Room No. 212, Addis Abba, Ethiopia, and upon payment
of non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500.

4.
A pre-bid meeting will be conducted on 27, March 2007 at 9:00
A.M. time at Electric Club near Mexico Square Addis Ababa.
5.
Bids should be submitted with One Original and Three Copies
for Technical and Financial proposals each in Separate wax sealed
envelopes on the date and time specified on the above table to:

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for an amount
of 1% of the bid price, but not more than 100,000 Birr in the form
of a certified check, letter or credit or a bank guarantee from a
reputable bank on the bidder’s choice.
7.
Bids will be opened in two stage. First envelopes containing
technically proposals alone will be opened at EEPCo’s club near
Mexico Square at the item shown on the above table in the presence
of bidders or their legal representatives. Envelopes containing
financial proposals will be kept sealed until the owner completes
the technical evaluation. The Owner will inform the opening date of
financial envelopes to all bides.
