Description

Invitation to bid for the Construction of Weighing Bridge Subtraction & Weighing office project.

1.      Kality Metal Products Factory has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for Construction of Weighing Bridge Substructure & Weighing office project.

2.      Kality Metal Products Factory invites sealed bids from the eligibly bidders for the construction of weigh bridge substructure and weigh office project within 90 calendar days from the commencement of works.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from Ethiopia, Category GC 8 or BC 8 and/or above with license valid for the year 1999 E.C.

4.       Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Transport Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 (a) from 8:30-12:30 A.M. & 2:30 -5:30 P.M.

5.      A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address below at 7 (b) and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ethiopia Birr 200 (Two Hundred) and submission of Registration Certificate for GC 8 or BC 8 and/or above, renewed Business license for 1999 E.C. VAT registration, Tax payer registration and Tax clearance certificate. The method of payment will be in cash. The document will be sent by had delivery. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7 (c) at or before April 23, 2007, 10:00 A.M.) All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand). The bid security shall be payable on demand to Kality Metal Products Factory, and must be irrevocable letter of credit, or Bank Guarantee or a certified payment order (CPO) at the bidders option. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7 (d) on April 24, 2007, 10:30 A.M.
