1.
The University of
Gonder invites qualified
contactors of stated category with relevant experience and valid
license for the current fiscal year to submit wax-sealed tenders for
the construction of Multi Purpose Stadium project.
2.
Bidders must have a valid registration certificate from
Ministry of Infrastructure and must be registered for VAT.
3.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from and inspect the bidding documents at the office: which are
obtainable during working hours from Ministry of Education, Room No.
125 and University of Gondar

4.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any
interested eligible bidders upon non-refundable fee of ETH. Birr
200.00.
5.
The bid shall be valid for a period of 30 calendar days after
the bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of
bid amount in the form of bank Guarantee of CPO addressed to
University
of Gondar and shall be delivered and deposited in the appropriately
labeled box.
6. Bidders
shall submit four envelopes. “Qualification Application”, “bid
(original and copy)” and “Bid security”, separately and should be
sealed by an outer envelope for each lot mentioned above.
7. Tenders
must be delivered to the University of
Gondar
on or before April 11, 2007 at 12:00 noon. Late bids will be
rejected.
8. Bid
received by the said dead line will be publicly opened at 2:00 P.M.
on the same date.
9. The
project shall be completed within 200 calendar days from signing
date of the contact agreement.
10. Bid
will be evaluated and contract awarded taking in to account
technical compliance to the given bid, the shortest delivery time &
lowest evaluated price of item which will be the basis for award of
the contract. Evaluation will be done for the technically accepted
bidders & it is according to the stated prequalification format.
11.
The University of
Gondar reserves the right to
reject any or all bids. |
