All contractors of category GC/BC class 6 and above with renewed
license and registration of MoWUD valid for the year 1999 E.C.
1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation invites all eligible
Contractors Category GC/BC class 6 and above to undertake the
construction of health center and maintenance work of the existing
Berta camp at the Tigray region at Tanqua Abergele Kebele 20 km far
from Tekeze hydropower construction project.
2. A
complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested
bidders as of March 23, 2007 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 350 (Three Hundred Fifty Birr) on submission of written
application to: Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation, Northern
Region Department,
P.O. Box 472, Office Number 022, Mekele.
And bids must be submitted to the same place till 10:00 A.M.
April 23, 2007.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from: Tekeze
Hydroelectric Power Project Office,
Addis Ababa, Tel. 011 552 71 98 or
011-554 10 54, fax 011 551 63 56, Addis Ababa.
4. Bids
should be submitted with One original and two copies wax-sealed
envelope before or on the closing date
April 23, 2007, 10:00 A.M.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by bid security, an amount, of 1% of
their offer in the form of a cash deposit, a certified check, a
bank draft, an irrevocable letter of credit or a grantee from a bank
or a bond issued by an insurance company payable unconditionally on
first written demand and must be submitted on or before April 23,
2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the same address listed on the 2nd
paragraph.
6. Bids
will be opened at the same office in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend on 11:00 A.M. April 23,
2007.
7. Bidders
are requested to fill the necessary details in the instruction to
bidders.
8. Completion
time 180 calendar days.
9. Bidders
should be VAT registered and have the certificate.
10. EEPCo
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. |
