Shebelle Hotels’ Enterprise invites all registered contractors of
Category GC 6 or BC 6 for canopy and Garden Shade and BC 7 and above
for Wondo Genet and Sodere projects and having:
Trade license and construction
service certificates valid for 1999 Ethiopian calendar year.

submit wax-sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, materials
equipment and any other necessary requirements for the execution and
completion of the Addis Ababa Wabe Shebelle Hotel Entrance Canopy

2. Each
prospective bidder proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of the particular instruction
of the project.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any
interested eligible bidders on the submission of written
application to the above address and payment of a non-refundable fee
of Birr 300 for canopy and Graden Shade (each) Birr 200 for Wondo
Genet and Sodere project (each)
4.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 5000.
The bid security shall be payable n demand to the employer, and must
be an irrevocable Letter of credit, or Bank Guarantee or a certified
payment order at the bidders.
5.
Bidders can bid for all projects or any one of hem as they
choose. The bid along with the bid security must be purchased and
delivered to the

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders’
representatives who choose to attend at the Red Salon on April 17,
2007 at 2:00 P.M.
7.
The construction of each work shall be completed within 120
calendar days from commencement of works.
8.
The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to
waive formalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceeds and do
the work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
