3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open international
Tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement
Proclamation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is
open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Defense
Industry Infrastructure Head and Engineering Center, Mexico Square
and inspect the bidding documents at the Address below during office
hours from Monday to Thursday 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.
to 5:00 P.M. Friday 8:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
5. A
complete set of bidding document in English language may be
Purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr) for
each and every lot from the office of the Addis
Engineering Center, floor No.
5 office No. 510.
6. Bids
must be delivered to address above on or before May 11, 2007 at
10:00 A.M. All bids must be
accompanied by bid security of amounting Birr or an equivalent
amount in a freely convertible currency for each and every lot. Late
bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of
bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the address
below on May 11, 2007 at
10:30 A.M.
7. The
bid opening date and hour shall be May 11, 2007
at 10:30 A.M. and closed at
10:00 A.M. on May 11, 2007.
8. The
purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject the bid partially
or fully.
