To: All Contractors of Class A local Electrical or
Electro-Mechanical contractors/equivalent Foreign Electrical or
Electro-Mechanical contractors.
1.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has funds within the
Employer’s budget to be sued for the procurement of 630 KVA
Transformer with two Generators of 350 KVA & related works in
Djibouti Ethiopian Embassy.
2. Invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders of Class A local electrical or
electro-mechanical contractors who have license valid for the
current year and eligible foreign electrical or electromechanical
contractors who have valid license equivalent to the local Class A
electrical contractor.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open Tendering Procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of
foreign Affairs at the address given below:

The bid document shall be obtained from the address at
above 4, a & b against payment of non-refundable Ethiopian
Birr 200/4200 DJ FR.
6.
Bid must be delivered to the address at above 4, a & b
at or before 5:30 P.M. hr. on 18th April, 1999 E.C.
/26th April, 2007 G.C. All bids must be accompanied by a
bid security of Ethiopian Birr 23,500.00/493,500.00DJ FR. Late bids
shall be rejected. Bid will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address at
above 4, a & b at 9:00 A.M. hr. on 9th April, 1999 E.C./27th
April, 2007 G.C.

The bidders are instructed to submit Original and all copies
of the bid in three inner envelopes i.e., (the Technical Proposal,
Financial Offer, and bid security) and open outer envelope, duly
marking the inner envelopes as “Original” and “Copies”
both for the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial Offer”.
c)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the right to reject any
or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign
& seal all forms of the bid documents.
